The Challenge
Desiree Burch is a comedian, writer, and performer originally from California. She is known for her frank and irreverent style, and has been featured on a number of television shows and podcasts. Burch has also worked as a writer and performer for theatre productions and comedy festivals, and has received critical acclaim for her one-woman shows.
She tasked us to build a brand that could be used for both screen and print, ahead of appearances on Channel 4’s Taskmaster and Netflix’s Too Hot To Handle.
The Idea
When workshopping, Desiree shared her love of the design language of the sixties and seventies and hoped to see their influence in the final work. We coupled elegant type with pastilles and wave patterns to create a simple, distinctive system that stood out across all mediums.
